Byer Builders is pleased to offer a variety of floor plans for you to choose from. Our designs include two- story homes, ranch homes, Cape Cod homes, and multi-level homes that have each been uniquely engineered to provide the maximum amount of energy efficiency.
If one of our designs does not meet your exact needs, Byer Builders offers minor customization of our architects’ floor plans within our scope of upgrades. Our architects have been trained to ensure that each and every design offers our customers the best built home possible.
Before or during the design stage, feel free to ask one of our New Home Sales Consultants to assist you in locating a financial lender of your choice. Byer Builders has worked hard to put together a list of the highest quality local banks and mortgage providers available to meet your needs for your permanent financing of your new home.
STEP 2- COLOR SELECTIONS & PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING
Once the contract is finalized, your selections need to be decided within 45 days. We will schedule a meeting with a Byer Builders staff member that usually lasts 3-4 hours.
Selections: Appointments will be set to meet with your New Home Sales Consultant to select the colors and details for your home from our list of upgrades and vendors. Here is the schedule of selection meetings:
Week One: Windows (Grid Pattern and Color), Roof Color, and Brick and Mortar Color
Week Two: Siding Color & Shake Siding Color (if applicable), Exterior Trim Color, Shutters (if applicable), Garage Windows (if applicable), Exterior Door, Plumbing Finish (bronze, nickel or chrome), Interior Door Hinge Finish (from Callan book – bronze, satin nickel), and Wood Treads (upgrade) or Carpet on stairs (standard)
Week Three: Plumbing fixtures, Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and Paint
Week Four: Interior Door Style, Door Knob Style and Finish for interior doors, Front Door Lighting, Furniture Vanity (if applicable)
Week Five: Granite, Lighting and any undecided selections need to be completed.
Preconstruction Meeting: In order to make a smooth transition, you will meet with both the realtor and builder to go over your color selections, contract and any other details pertaining to your home. Jon Byer personally oversees the production of your home on a daily basis to ensure that your home is built to Byer Builders’ set of production standards, which is the reason why we offer the highest quality of service.
STEP 3- GROUNDBREAKING & THE BUILDING PROCESS
Groundbreaking: A most exciting day for you….the construction of your home begins! Throughout the construction process you will be in communication with your builder and realtor to make sure all the details to your home are handled. Knowing that the production of your home is one of the most important processes, Byer Builders gives you peace of mind by having an open line of communication with his company.
Building Process: We handcraft each home throughout the building process to make sure there are no flaws in the building materials and construction of your new home. You’ll observe the quality and finish that goes into each house, thus setting Byer Builders apart from its competition.
STEP 4- MOVE IN & BYER BUILDERS PEACE OF MIND
Move In: Congratulations! The day you have been waiting for is here! Your New Home Sales Consultant will meet with you at your home to make sure everything is as you selected and provide the keys to you. Now it’s time to enjoy your new Byer Builder Home and have the security of knowing it is backed by years of quality and success!
One year warranty: Byer Builders is a registered builder with BIA (Builders Industry Association) and offers a one years’ BIA builders warranty.
